NAIL POLISH STORAGE/ORGANISATION FOR $6

Hey Clouds!

You read the title right! Today I went out shopping for nail polish storage and bought this bunch of storage items for $6 from Daiso. If you don't know what Daiso is, it is a shop that sells every item for just $2! It's like the dollar store for Americans but two dollars 😂 ahaha okay anyway this is what I bought. I separated my nail supplies, makeup and nail polishes info 3 separate compartments. These are stackable so if you have more nail polish then you can buy more containers!
And so voila! That's my nail polish storage:) the 2 white storage boxes are $2 each and the other $2 went into the square storage box for my nail supplies :) that's it for this blog post and I hope you've found some inspiration for your nail polish storage or I have helped you in any way! God bless you and have a nice day :)

Mini Haul from *SCAPE

Hey clouds!!!!

Hahah I haven't talked to you in FOREVER mainly because I had exams and had no time at all to post anything but now I'm back so yay! Okay so today I went out shopping with one of my best buds Leanne, and we got a bit crazy! No one has asked me to promote anything and these are just my honest reviews on the products overall!

Firstly, I got some Polaroid film :)
And I really liked the print on this pack of film so I decided to get it. Not too sure that the price was something I really liked because it is more towards the expensive side seeing as normal film costs $10. (This costs $17)
Hence, I'd give this a 7/10 because of it's price. This was bought in the store that is right in front when you walk into the first floor!

Secondly, I went CRAZY at this beauty store and literally bought so much and it was very inexpensive too!
And.....  This is my idea of "bought so much". HAHAHAH!
Okay the lip smacker is AMAzing it's tastes really nice HAHAHAHA and that's a quality I look for in lip balms because you don't want some nasty tasting lip balm when it's gonna be on your lips the entire day! It's a bit pricey ($5) but I'd rate it a 5/10.
I also bought the hand sanitizer from there which is from Bath&Bodyworks. They had a great deal going on, 3 for $10 and 1 for $4. In the real store it's $5 for 1 so I guess it was a good buy. It smells really good too! A thing that I've noticed about these hand sanitizers is that they smell exactly like what they are written to be and thats great because they are staying true to the label :) and of course they smell perfect too! I'd give this a 7.5/10 just because for a hand sanitizer it is a bit expensive.
The rest of the products are all nail tools. I bought the nail polish remover bottle for $2 which was a steal! And the nail file and nail art brush both for $1 each. I think that these are really affordable as people like us (students), who are often on a tight budget can buy these! I'd give them a 10/10.
All these were from the store D.Y.O.N .

Last but not least, I bought a ring from the shop "Punk Candy" or at least that's what's written on the packet the ring came in. It's a very colourful ring, perfect for the summer. They also had a great offer going on, 1 for 4, 2 for 7 and 3 for 9 or 10 dollars, I can't remember. I'd give it a 9/10.

And that's it for the blog post! Hope you found this informative and helpful!

HOW TO : SURVIVE SCHOOL

Hey Cloudz!

The post I am doing today is going to be a rather different post. As you all know, I haven't posted in a while and thats due to me having school and exams hence I am not as free to update my blog. Since my term exams just finished and I have a bit of free time on hand now, I'm writing this blog post for everyone going to school out there. This post in on how to survive school.

In most countries, it is mandatory for children to go to school, or at least it is the norm. Nowadays, schools are getting more and more hectic, teaching children a lot more than what their predecessors used to learn. Hence, striking the perfect balance between school work, sleep and social life has become very hard.

Firstly,WORK.

There are many different techniques people suggest to cope up with work. This is the entire list of ways to cope up with work.

1. Make a list with all the work you have

Trust me, once you finish all that work, by ticking every time you finish a piece of work, you will feel so satisfied and also you will be able to keep track of what was assigned to you and when it is due.

2. Assign a time at which you are going to finish your work next to it in the list

TIP: When estimating how long it will take to finish the work, always add 1/4 of the estimated time to your gauge. By doing this, in case you take more time to finish, it will not affect your other work and in case you finish early, you will have extra time.

3.Finish all your work the day it is assigned to you.

By doing this, you will not have any backlog from other days and you can continue with the work from that day itself.

4. When you are given a group project, assign different parts of the work to different members and plan meet up days to finish the project the day itself.

This ensures that it will not affect the other homework/appointments you have set for yourself. This also makes sure that you will not be late in finishing this project and you know what you have to do in that project.

Secondly, Social Life.

To maintain a good social life, it is important that you know your schedule and what work you need to do before going out or hanging out with your friends. Maintaing a good social life is also in a way a type of homework, so make sure on your to-do list, every week you include at least a few outings or times you spend with your friends. To be able to go out with your friends, you must know your schedule so you know whether you are free to go out or now. Hence finishing your work first will make sure that you have no other work before going out so you can go out in peace without being anxious about not finishing your work. Also, you should not turn down any invitations to go out just yet until you know that it is not possible. Alternatively, to make up for the time "lost" not going out, you can plan other outings with the same friends at an alternative time when everyone is free.

Lastly, Sleep.

Getting the right amount of sleep is also necessary. With enough sleep you will be able to maintain a good social life and get the right grades. To do so, you need to set boundaries for yourself. As for me, since I need to get up on a daily basis at 5.50 to go to school, I make sure that by 10.30 I am in bed. As for days that I really need to finish all my work, my greatest boundary is 11.30. However, the next day I sleep in the afternoon to "compensate" for the work done.

These are all the tips I have for everyone for surviving school! Hope this helped you in one way or another!

5 MINUTE NO BAKE CHEESECAKE

Hello cloudz!

PRESENTING.......

THE SUPER SIMPLE NO BAKE CHEESECAKE WHICH TASTES JUST AS GOOD AS REGULAR CHEESECAKE.

*pant* that was a lot to say in one breath  *pant*

This cheesecake is simply delectable and super simple to make. It takes no time to whip it up and is a pleasure to eat!

Ingredients

1. 500 ml of cold whipping cream
2. 8oz of cream cheese
3. 1 packet of graham crackers
4. 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
5. 1/3 cup butter
6. 1 tablespoon of milk

Tools

1. 2 regular mixing bowls
2. Spatula
3. Whisk

Method

1. Grind up all the graham crackers till they form crumbs. Alternatively if you do not have a grinder, like I did, you can put the crackers into a ziplock back (any plastic disposable bag) and use a ladle or a rolling pin and mash up the biscuits.

2. Mix the brown sugar (optionally a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of salt) into the graham cracker crumbs. In the meantime, melt your butter for about a minute, stirring at the half minute interval. Once ready, mix the butter and crumb mixture together till they for the consistency of wet sand.

3. Get your springform tin (or cake tin but make sure you line it with parchment paper so you can lift it out once set) and pat down(don't be afraid to use your hands to press it down) all the graham cracker crumbs till they form an even layer. Put that in the freezer to set.

4. Get out your cream cheese and milk and beat it till light and fluffy for about 1-2 minutes on medium-high speed. Then add in your VERY COLD double/whipping cream and whip on high speed for about 3 minutes. Watch it constantly to see watch it reach stiff peaks. by then when you remove your whisk/electric beater, the cream should hold its shape and be firm.

5. Finally, scoop all the cream into the chilled springform tin and spread it till it has an even surface. For best results, leave it to chill overnight (I recommend that because it may not firm up if you give it less time) in the freezer.

Serve this with your favourite topping (mine was blueberries :D)

AND YOUR CHEESECAKE IS DONE!

Thats all you need to make an amazing cheesecake. This recipe gives you a very light and fluffy cheesecake with a tangy cream cheese flavour. Alternatively you could add 2 8oz cream cheese packets and 250 ml of cream for a stronger cream cheese flavour, the rest of the recipe is the same.

I wish you the very best of luck in your attempt, and do share pictures of your cheesecake with me please! :) Have a good day.

Niki

SUPER SIMPLE DIY FACE SCRUB

Hello Cloudz!

Today I am happy to share with you one of my favourite exfoliating scrubs of all time. This face scrub will not only exfoliate your skin but leave it smooth and moisturized.

BEHOLD! THE SUGAR-HONEY FACE SCRUB!

The honey in this face scrub helps to moisturize your skin and keep its smooth while the gritty texture of this scrub helps to exfoliate your skin, getting rid of dead skin and dirt in your pores.

You will need

- Sugar
-Honey

Directions

Mix the 2 ingredients together to form a paste-like consistency. Using your fingers, rub this scrub in a circular motion on your face for about 5 minutes and leave it on for another 10. Rinse this off and apply your favourite face cream. For best results, repeat this once in 1 or 2 weeks.

So that is it for my DIY project today. Do try this super simple face scrub and let me know in the comments what you feel!

Good luck and stay safe!
